Our Story
Pizza Max began in 2009 when Marco Rossi, a third-generation pizza maker from Naples, Italy, moved to Ireland and noticed that authentic Italian pizza was hard to find. With his family recipes and a passion for traditional pizza-making methods, Marco opened the first Pizza Max location in Dublin.
From the very beginning, Marco insisted on using only the finest ingredients, importing special flour from Italy, making fresh dough daily, and using the perfect blend of cheeses. His commitment to authenticity extended to investing in genuine stone ovens to achieve that perfect Neapolitan-style crust.
What started as a small takeaway shop quickly gained a reputation for serving the most authentic Italian pizza in Ireland. The combination of Marco's traditional recipes and the convenience of fast delivery proved to be a winning formula.
Over the years, Pizza Max has grown to multiple locations across Ireland, but we've never compromised on quality or authenticity. Each Pizza Max shop follows Marco's original recipes and methods, ensuring that every pizza we deliver maintains the standards that made us famous.
Our Philosophy
At Pizza Max, we believe that great pizza starts with great ingredients. We source locally whenever possible, working with Irish farmers and producers while importing specialty ingredients directly from Italy. Our dough is made fresh daily and allowed to rise naturally for at least 24 hours, developing complex flavors and the perfect texture.
